Gladstone's Library

We've had a day out.  And eaten rather a lot. 

Starting with a trip to Abakhan's where I bought two lots of curtain fabric.  Then to a hotel where we were able to sit outside for a lovely fish and chip lunch.

And then to Gladstone's Library.  E, one of S&S's sons works there.  Rather a splendid building, both inside and out.  It's not possible to go into the actual reading room as a casual visitor, but we had coffee and cake in the cafe.

By this time we were definitely quite replete, and returned to the house to recover.
