A Day Worth Recording

Moor

This morning, after the brief thunderstorm(!), was taken up with a visit to an NGS garden we'd not been to before - Moors Meadow Garden.  Seven acres of organic, semi-wild garden with large, bold areas of plants (the bamboos were impressive, as were the multiple varieties of crocosmia).

It's interesting to see what can be allowed to develop fully if you have the space.

Scattered throughout were appropriately large metalworks mostly by the host's blacksmith husband.

After a brief bit of hacking at our own garden this afternoon, it was on to starting the 'refresh' of the ground floor flat's bathroom as I've got a few days before it's needed again.
