Chambers Farm Wood Butterfly Garden

Mum said she'd like to visit the butterfly garden for her birthday today, but sadly it was really very hot and there weren't many butterflies.

We did see peacocks and red admirals. 

This caught my eye. It's a tiny stem of seedy grass and a teeny spider has spun a web in the end of it where it was curled. It had caught tiny little flies in it.

Extras include a teensy fritillary on a grass stem and peacock on yellow.

We managed to avoid the rain showers and were very glad when it cooled down a bit this evening!
