Mono Monday: Week 551 ...

... Memory.

I had several ideas for today ... one of which was our lovely Kiera as on this day in 2020 she officially became a member of our family.  A memory I won't ever forget. But it's hard to believe it's already been 4 years since she came to live with us. 

Another idea was of my memory of meeting Richard for the first time ... more than 40 years ago.  Those memories are still so fresh in my mind it seems like only yesterday. Love you, R!

But as I was searching through all my memory boxes trying to find just the right thing I came across this letter from my late Dad.  It's dated February 2001 ... the year he passed away.  And, wow, did this bring back some memories ... good and bad.  I'm only showing a small part of the letter.  He was going through chemo at the time so the fact that he took the time to write and send this letter to me speaks volumes as to the kind of man he was.  Love you Dad.  ♥♥♥
