4th ~ Fini

Josh, Natalie and Rebecca headed home around 8am to catch their ferry.  Whilst the rest of us continued to pack and tidy up.

When we booked the departure time was 10am but the info in the house said 11 so we had that time in our head.  Anyway, a relative of the owner as she was unwell rang around 9:40 to make sure we were leaving at 10 as the cleaners had to come in for new occupants later that day.  Mad rush around but we did by 10.

Both Sims and our tunnel crossings were not until the afternoon so we took a pootle along and stopped in Wimereux for a stroll and some lunch on the promenade.  A livelier town compared to yesterdays and the sun came out as we sat outside for our lunch.

Sims crossing was about an hour or so before ours but we all headed to the terminal to get with the hope of getting an earlier train.  Sim stayed on his original booking but ours was brought forward an hour, although not the same train as theirs. So we went our separate ways after we checked in.

We were just about to board our train when the doors were closed three cars ahead of us as it was full.  So we had to drive along the platform, up a ramp, down a ramp, along another platform, up another ramp and along to a platform where we managed to squeeze onto the next train.   As I mentioned on our outward journey, the tunnel seems to operate as a you will get on a train within a 2 hour window rather than your allotted time.  But all home safely.
