A right bobby dazzler!

I came home to find the cosmos had either dried up completely (and after watering are only now looking like they might recover in parts) or in full bloom.  They are a beautiful colour when they first open a really rich and deep claret but as they fade they head towards a less interesting pinky purple.. Still it makes for a colourful moment in my garden.  This one seems happy in its spot!
It has been another warm day.. 24C and there has been a breeze which has been strong enough to make it quite chilly if you are sitting in the shade. 
My lovely cleaner is taking some time off to have her baby .. due in a month or so. Her other daughter is 15 so this was a little surprise! Anyway she has been great and while she takes a few months off she has found us a replacement cleaner.. perfect.. and she says she is keen to return so today they both came to meet me and the house and will be back again on a tuesday. .. perfect. Monday morning was always a bit of a shock to clear up the weekend before 9am!!  Now I have an extra day!
