Yesterday the weather forecast for today showed rain starting between 9 and 10 o’clock.
By morning it had changed to nearer midday which was fortunate because I was late up. There was no time for my usual morning routine, just 2 mugs of tea then I got ready to go out.
I drove to Keswick and for the first time ever there was a speed camera van (camera pointing away from me) on the section of road that runs alongside Thirlmere.
Just my usual circular walk from near the museum to the lake and back, popping into Booths for a few groceries. There were no early customers for the rowing boat staff but to the left a full launch was leaving the jetty.
