Back home!

Twenty minutes ahead of schedule, our flight from San Francisco to Schiphol Amsterdam airport landed. All very uneventful, but sleeping in an airplane seat just doesn’t seem to work for me. When we had picked up our bags and had left Amsterdam behind us, I had been up for over 24 hours.

Once we got home, I decided to try not to sleep until a normal time in our time zone. As I’m typing this it’s almost 9.30 in the evening and if I did the math correctly I’m now up for around 33 hours. I think I have earned my sleep now!

It was great being reunited with Joey again. The image you’re looking at, was made during my evening walk with him.
