Fly past

If you look very carefully above the trees you can see an RAF Airbus up from Brize Norton for the Tattoo fly past, much slower and quieter than Typhoons. Flight radar showed in stacking off N Berwick so it could fly over at 9.30.

That was the end of the day. It started with me regretting the late night coffee. I was up and down a few times. Saw starts but not the Aurora or the Perseids.

Once up there was a call with J to sort out arrangements for her visit at the end of the month. Then to town and a coffee in JL. I ordered pain au raisin and got a pain au Chocolat and only noticed half way through eating it. We had a look at some shops including Rituals where I bought quite a lot. My back and stomach were complaining.

Sat in the bus station till it was time for her to leave. Been great seeing but I'm exhausted. It was cool and showery so I decided to go home. My back was screaming and I just felt awful so I went to bed and I'm afraid Paul Merton and Jo Caulfield will have to wait till next year.

I couldn't believe how painful it was, like hot pokers so self medicated and dozed. The headache didn't help either.

Hoping that a) I can sleep and b) I feel better tomorrow.
