Heather and Cloud

From last night's pitch, we walked along the coastal path for a while and as we turned back I took this shot of the Heather. More than one sort of course.

Then a 230 mile drive to Portgordon on the Moray Firth, where we parked by the harbour and paid a local group a donation.  We walked along the shore and watched Terns diving for fish, and seals (Common and Grey) lying on the beach. But closer than usual for both.

The extra is of an imposing cloud a while after sunset. The harbour is just visible in the foreground and has an interesting story. It appears that several storms in recent years have piled many tonnes of stones across the harbour mouth and slipway. So the harbour has no boats, and no way  to sail in or out.
