A rusty gate

We were at Chastleton House on Tuesday for another of their quiet art days.  Gill and our neighbour Alex took their watercolours and I was one of the three photographers there of the 20 tickets.   Not the best day for photography, hot sunny and bright blue skies, but there are plenty of small details to see. The gardener did say that the weather was showery/rainy last time so the artists had a difficult time and the photographers were very happy!

This rusty gate lock and chain appealed - Gill and Alex both have paintings of the the whole gate and the wall it sits in.

We're now over at Malvern in the motorhome where the weather has gone for drizzle and the WiFi and mobile connectivity is dire. So uploading blips might have to wait until we get home.
