Juvenile

This teenage magpie visits the garden regularly, often with his parents or just one of them.  They are more cautious than the teenage and fly to nearby perches when there's a human about.  The youngster was quite happy to strut around while I kept still taking his portrait.  His parents on the other hand set up their regular chattering call warning him to be careful.
