Aurora Borealis

A photo with a story attached. This is the first time in my life to actually see the Aurora let alone photograph the phenomenon. 
I had retired to bed when Kirsi announced that some of her Facebook friends were reporting great visibility of the Northern Lights. Naw! says I I'm not getting up just to have a look. Well I'm going out so, says she.
A few minutes later she's back, "Brilliant. I can see them clearly she yells at me so up I get, grab camera and tripod and out I go to the garden. Within minutes there we are, both clad in our dressing gowns and witnessing something we have never seen before.
