Somehow, we have created a mess! However, a trip to the recycling centre has sorted most of it out.

We had walked Hetty by 8.30am and then continued redecorating the house.

An electrician turned up when he said he would, and connected the oven. 

Then we had another walk and ended up in C S Lewis square. (Incidentally, he was delivered by R's GG grandmother. She was a district midwife and the family still have all the records she kept.)

Florence rang and we had a long chat. A friend gifted her a ticket for a musical festival so she hopes to go back to London for that. We don't have a set date for our return but I can't wait to see her and don't want her to go back without spending time with her.

We could easily spend more time here. We are quite at home but I doubt the newly weds want us here when they move in!
