Misty Morning
Looking out of the window I was unsure if the row would go ahead, even less sure when I arrived at the boatyard and couldn’t see the opposite bank of the Penryn river.
We went out on the Rachel Row, made all the more exciting as the huge barge from Freemans Wharf made its way off the it’s berth and down to the harbour - in the mist.
Visibility marginally improved during the second hour whilst we were on the Club Row but as the picture shows the mist soon rolled back in.
In the afternoon it was the Ve/VJ commemoration in Penryn. I attended, just the service itself not the tea-stickies-raffle afterwards.
Home to get the pre-prepared chicken roast in the oven and spend some time with Mrs S
