Someone Had A Good Idea

Earlier in the year whilst walking Mrs S and I noticed that part of the lawn area near the tennis courts had been dug over but never gave it much thought.
Here we are in early August and it looks amazing, poppies, cornflowers, water campion, sea orchids all are there along with plenty of insect life.
You can see the bee clearly but there were butterfly’s, aphids and all sorts dancing in the sun.
There are a good few of these type of wildflower beds spaced along Falmouth’s stretch of the coastal footpath but I guess this one stands out because it’s new.
