Dragonfly

I first off thought it was alive, then dead, got closer with camera, it flew off, It was alive! Taken on the banks of the Basingstoke Canal. Its surprising how many little things there are.

A nice chap stopped as he was running by to enquire if I had seen a Deer, I replied no a snail! (I was photographing one at the time) and to my surprise he exclaimed Jolly good, I'm (he) is a member of the bug society. Never knew there was such a thing!

Final shot of the day was a distant sunset (most are) with a lovely hot air balloon riding the clouds in the far distance. Ho hum can't stay with your head in the clouds forever.
