Day 21, Playa de Cuevas del Mar

Our last full day so we headed off to walk another coastal trail, this one was far more ad hoc and adventurous using our instinct as much as a map. We reached a beach (Playa de la Güelga) through some head high saplings, the locals on the beach must have wondered what the mad English people were doing.

This lizard was living in the Ermita de San Antonio on a dramatic headland above the beach and seemed to be living its best life.
