The town of Le Conquet is quite beautiful.  This morning I cycled in to get the morning's rations.  It seems theree is just one very popular bakery, I queued in silence with everyone else.  Today is the first day for a market, I had a quick look around and thought to come back later.
We did go back, I picked up some sashimi, with about 6 different toppings/cures/marinades and some other bits. The fruit and tomatoes as I remember, they taste like France!
In the evening we walked to the neares lighthouse, Kermorvan, for a 2 hour talk on the history, and folklore of the lighthouses in the region and le mer d'Iroise, one of the most the most treacherous seas in the world.  We stood and listened to the very keen guide lulled by the beam of the lighthouse.  From one point we could see 9 other lighthouses along the coast.  This is the nearby Phare de Saint Mathieu. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours of an evening.
