Where Change happens....

A while back - 9th October 2020 apparently - I blipped the 'Lego Building' in Southend - since then it's been found that the coloured fascias weren't at all safe! so they've been removed and it is now looking like this  - a more mono lego approach!  

And i thought it rather apt today as it belongs to the university of Essex, where students will be learning of their exam fates!! And my nephew in Surrey, was on the phone early this morning to tell us of his great results - A,A,B - which means he's off to the University of Loughborough when the new term starts!! Poor Loughborough!! Seems so strange he's old enough now to be leaving home!!

Just a quick trip to Southend this morning to run some errands and there was a very unpleasant stench along the seafront! And then carnage on the roads near home where a lorry hit a tree which resulted in a main road being shut causing chaos! Thankfully we knew back roads to take to avoid it!

Humid and very blustery on the weather front today!
