I didn't need to
go very far for my blip.
Bad boys were waiting!

I was up on my deck getting this panorama view at 5:30. I'd already decided I would drive off to Vantage Point along the river taking the long way at the base of the hill I live on.
I was on my way before the sun appeared. There was light traffic along this route. I pulled off to let them by as they appeared. I was on the lookout for deer or big horn sheep and I didn't want other cars in my way.
I was in luck this morning as two big horn sheep were grazing along the roadside. I pulled over and hopped out of my car but I wasn't fast enough. They turned up onto the hill behind them and started to fade into the sagebrush. I got several disappointing fuzzy pictures.
I drove on to find a little herd of eight rams enjoying the greenery beside the road. I pulled over on the other side of the road and got out with my camera once again. This bunch paid little attention to me even as I talked to them. They'd look up and then go on eating. I managed to get some close-ups before the other two I'd seen came to join them. They all walked up the slope behind them and continued to graze. I left them in peace to pick up my breakfast.
My last stop was to catch the morning colour around my mountains as seen from the east side of the airport.
I have some office duties this morning but should be home again midmorning. Then it's feet up time for me!
