A Rainy Day

No early morning walk this morning. Neither of us felt like it, so we didn’t push ourselves - perhaps because there was a huge thunderstorm during the night, which disturbed our sleep. Instead, we had breakfast first and then walked along to Sala Casadrigas, an old house once owned by a Barcelona textile family, and now a not-very-creatively-used exhibition space. However, nice to see it and the view from the window in my blip is from there. The little church in my blip is just across the road from it and it’s been there since at least 1573. We wandered round the daily food market and then back in time for a lovely lunch at Cal Tony’s.

It rained heavily in the afternoon, the wind started during our lunch and so we played Yahtzee on the hotel verandah, downstairs. You can see the dripping rain from the awning tile.

We didn’t go out at night, nor did we need anything else to eat.
