Of giant rabbit and Vespa

As I passed through the city centre on my way to the railway station I crossed over the Royal Mile and the fringe street area. A giant rabbit greeted me along with many other entertainers. See extra.

The countryside on the way to Motherwell looked so much more peaceful and by the time I met up with friends with whom I was staying the night in Hamilton I was more relaxed. Three dogs and a bundle of children kept the afternoon busy then we headed out to a local Italian for a meal.

It was excellent and the decor was bright and colourful with the walls lined with bottles. More striking was this display by the front door. I don’t know if it still worked!
