One of many

A dull, damp and cold morning. Then, in the late afternoon, the sun came out and made for a lovely evening.

A few little birds take advantage of the absence of the bigger birds on the feeders and make the most of the quiet to get an evening snack. Not much food left, but that’s okay, they don’t need much.

I often say how we have so many Sparrows. They are everywhere and the numbers increase all the time. There is apparently a severe decline in the UK HouseSparrow population . . . not here! Perhaps we are doing our little bit for bird conservation.
