Paris!

First shots taken just after 7:00 this morning, looking through our window!  The early morning light coming in and hitting the light over our bed.  Sending the reflection onto the wall.

Then shot of me in the train on our way to Paris.  Ro and I had a great day! 
15 August is Our Lady’s Feast day and we came out of the station opposite a church, five minutes before mass! So Ro and I attended a Latin sung mass.  It was beautiful! 

A Started with a Crêperie Bretonne.  A galette fromage, œuf, jambon.  With some lettuce on the side.  Then a crèpe á la crème de marron! With some cidre brut! 

We just wandered through Paris and ended up on the île de la cité to see Notre Dame.  Surrounded by a hoarding with lots of fascinating images and explanations on the reconstruction.  Moved down to the end of the island and went into a cafe on the next island: île  Saint Louis, sat down and people watched! Ice creams and a wonderful chocolat chaud! 

A visit to the BHV where we bought a crepe pan coated with a ceramic layer rather than Teflon! 


We went back to square one where we met the others to go home!
