Bird Table

More messing with water droplet photography today, using the Pluto Valve and Pluto Trigger.  Today we thickened up the liquid in the reservoir by adding more xanthum gum mixture to it.  It made the shapes a little more consistent as the surface tension was a bit stronger.  We also changed the flash on the background to have a green gel rather than a red one.  This flash became a bit unrelilable (think it was a Pocket Wizard problem) so sometimes we got a dark background, as in the main blip.

We also had a short play with using three drops rather than two - see extra.  This proved to be more messy than two with splashes going all over the worktop.
