After the rain ….
The weather is miserable, but it matters little as we’re off to G’s mum’s old flat in Bangor. The two brothers are working together to remove all Mair’s belongings over the four weeks notice now given as her move has been made permanent. We’re lucky that the bulk of the work was done four years ago when she moved from the home she’d lived in for the last 25 years, but there’s still a fair amount to do. It’s strange to see the place abandoned, surfaces clear and picture hooks the remnants of treasured plates and pictures. Still, it’s good to know she’s happy in her new home. Today, it’s a case of preparing the larger items that will be collected by G and Daniel in ten days time - bubble wrapping a fridge freezer is an interesting task!
By the time we get home, I’m just desperate for a lie down, but once recovered I’m pleased to see the rain has stopped so I can go out into the garden in search of watery shots. Great fun focusing in on the water droplets, then a minimum of faffing.
