Relearning an old craft...

I discovered this old red spool knitter (my Grandma called them "Knitting Nancys") in my mother's box of sewing things recently.  I remember using it as a child. I had to consult a Youtube video to relearn it, it's been 65 years!  I don't know how many yarns of the cording I made but I do remember bringing it to school to work on during indoor recess.  We made necklaces from it or curled it into hot plate coasters.  The blue yarn is called Wild Blueberry, and I think it will make a great coaster.  I got a figure painted one just for fun.  Vintage picture of a little girl knitting.  PT this morning.  The best I can say is the redness and swelling aren't any worse.  Sigh...
