A Welcome Visitor
Two mamma turkeys brought their young ones for a visit and to graze the field for insects. Such a welcome sight. Two babies made straight to the wee meadow to forage, but plants blocked my view so no picture of them. I've always thought wild turkey feathers are the most beautiful of all New England birds. Their iridescence is stunning in the right light. A good treatment with the PT lady yesterday. She had me getting in and out of my car for the first time! She seems to think I will be driving in a week or 10 days. We'll see what the surgeon says on Tuesday. The redness and swelling seem a wee bit better this morning...small steps.
