Dennis

Another tribute concert tonight (the Beatles this time - see isbi’s blip) with our usual companions Dennis and Denise. Astute blippers will pick that Dennis and I are not blood relations but the connection is that his wife Denise and my wife Adrienne are cousins and we all enjoy a musical night out without any of us being aficionados on the subject.
When he’s not bopping along to the Beatles, Frankie Valli or Dusty Springfield, Dennis is a Professor of Medicine specialising in diabetes. For years he’s been responsible for keeping my blood glucose within reasonable limits (although from some of his reports to my GP he regards me as a slightly delinquent patient).
We meet up again in a few weeks for some more music, this time more classical.
