Lac Leman cruise

What a fabulous day on Lake Geneva with a First class gourmet cruise then a sunset cruise. A retirement gift from our employer. We started in the stunning but incredibly busy medieval village of Yvoire. A three course lunch was served as we sailed up the lake to Geneva, stopping in small ports along the way. After lunch we sat up on the quiet first class deck whilst sailing back to Yvoire then we stayed on the boat to Lausanne. After 40 mins wandering around Ouchy in Lausanne we took a paddle boat back to Yvoire just in time for sunset. Seven and a half hours cruising and so much to see. What a treat to sit in first class as it was incredibly busy on the lower deck.
Yvoire was much quieter on our return. We will visit tomorrow morning before the other tourists arrive. Staying here tonight in the van. See extra.
