Black-eyed Susan

Rudbeckia. Can’t remember planting them, but I’m very happy to see them, just as the marigolds are fewer in number.
We had a quiet walk in Shell Bay wood this morning. We spotted a man with his dog on another path in the distance, but that was the only person we saw in the wood. We saw no deer, or squirrels, and very few birds. Strange!
Cut the grass and did a lot of weeding in the afternoon. Turns out the bending over was a really bad idea, so I now have rotten painful acid reflux. Hey Ho! I will get my digestive system back under control and working as it should. It will just take time and patience. That’s a big ask for me!
