Towards Wetherlam

I was very inspired by Technophobe's photos from Lingmoor Fell the other day so we decided to drive into the lakes to see the marvellous heather and scenery for ourselves.

Lovely weather.  Warmish and sunny.  We parked at Elterwater and then walked up towards Lingmoor Fell  taking the path towards Little Langdale.  Then up onto Lingmoor.  We didn't get quite to the summit but thoroughly enjoyed the scenery.  We descended on a different path through the quarry and to Chapel Stile (much easier than the route up).
