Great Great Aunty Grace at 93

This morning we took a trip into Herefordshire via Newent, Dymock, The Trumpet and finishing up at Tarrington, where my Father was born.
The last surviving member of my Father's siblings is my Aunt Grace. She is Great Aunt to our children and Great Great Aunt to our grandchildren. She's not very good on her feet now but her mind if fine and today was her 93rd birthday. A little confused about some things, and forgetful of names, but no signs of dementia at all. I have the same problems and I'm only 75! but my legs are still ok :-)
She absolutely loved seeing the girls, and they took to her immediately and gave her a great big hug when we were leaving. They did eat some of the Dairy Milk chocolates and box of Roses that we took for her birthday, but at least they didn't eat the flowers that I gave her!
It was a 45 minute drive, both ways, and neither Hetty or Bella suffered from travel sickness, Hetty is most susceptible to it, so I was very pleased with that too. A great day.
