Sunset over Chesapeake Bay
Today we drove from Washington DC to Cape Charles, Virginia - about 4 hours. It was hot but we were in the car with air conditioning. It was the hottest day so far - 100F in Washington DC. Much less humid here, though. The water here was warm and wonderful. We had dinner at a nice restaurant called Aqua. Then we hurried back to experience their famous sunsets. We were not disappointed. We were not alone. Human-wise, we were. But there was rather large army of crabs scuttling about the beach. Cool but a bit creepy. Edward though it was fascinating and hilarious. Exploring Norfolk and area, tomorrow.
