And then there was light!

That old rusty lamp has lit the courtyard when switched on every evening for 9 years. Never failed, until last night! I took a photo and googled it to find that it is vintage and if I wanted to replace it, it would be £37 on eBay! Before I gave in and bought a new unit and called an electrician to fit it, I thought I’d try the rusty old screw. Rusty it may have been but it undid easily, and inside was an ordinary bulb, of which I found one in B’s box! And so, this evening I have light again.
