Granton harbour

More boats .. Swim first thing at Wardie. The breakwater makes a good windbreak, as well as a place to put bags and sit on smoothed rocks while putting on clothes and shoes. People are friendly.  Terns flying over the water while I was in.

To St Mary's for the lunchtime recital - India Reilly - violin George Brady - horn Alexander Kwon - piano. Youngsters, still at or just finished school, National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain players.
Programme
Sea Eagle - Maxwell Davies; Intermezzo in B minor - Brahms - and the main piece, the Brahms Horn trio for all three instruments.
That came off very well; enthusiasm and skill exhibited.

Another walk after supper to check on tufted ducks at Inverleith; there seem to be about a dozen youngsters: hard to count and fun to watch. The black headed gulls are losing their black heads.
