Beautiful morning run

Early morning run on my lockdown route. Met several people 'that I knew and received a call from estate agent, so lots of stops, so I paused for a good long while at the sluice; any excuse. Beautiful and peaceful.

Later, after I completed my end of holiday chores, I met up with B for a catch-up.  Her procedure yesterday sounded horrible. The doctor told her that he knew that her procedure would be a problem. Lots of prodding and shifting her about whilst under the scanner and, although local anaesthetic , it was painful. Also the lymph node that they really needed was next to her aorta, so he selected another place instead. This means that the result may be inconclusive.   Nevertheless she was upbeat and cheerful. She is an example to us all. We met at a lovely cafe near Hatfield Peverel - l. I had a lovely stilton and mushroom sandwich- gorgeous.
