Night out

Richard's son Nik bought us theatre vouchers for Christmas, and the date for a show we booked ages ago finally came round today.
We went to see a Sheffield People's Theatre production in The Playhouse, the smaller of the two theatres in the Crucible. This was 'Something Old, Something New', a show featuring pantomime-style fun and many local references. It was written and developed with a lot of community participation.
The audience was full of friends and family of the performers, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and cheerful. A lovely evening.
