English summer

Disrupted day with electricians here all day and lots to do to get house in some state of readiness for the guests arriving later.
For most of the day my foot was ok but by the evening it was sore and painful so I needed to rest it. I collected two of the three people staying with us from the station and then we had drinks and a meal outside.
I went inside early as it turned cold even with the brazier going. Some people were obviously more hardy.
