Travis Bickle

We went for a short hike to find Monks Bridge, apparently the oldest Packhorse Bridge in Cumbria. We found it (extra) but I was only able to get into position on the eastern side of the bridge for a pic. The river Calder was deep and the sides were sheer,  there was no safe position on the western side unfortunately despite some heroic scrambling through bracken. 
This unimpressed Herdy immediately reminded me of Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver at the end of the film where he sports his Mohican.
