Flowers

When I saw Jeanne's beautiful blip a couple of days ago, I just knew I had to get the same flowers from M&S, so I did. (I think she chose a more suitable vase than I did and arranged them better!)

Gladioli always remind me of my granddad, as he had them in his front garden, which was full of flowers of all kinds and colours. It was such a picture that people used to ask to come and see it. I remember it so well.  

I wonder why his love of gardening never rubbed off onto any of his family. All the houses I have ever lived in have had large gardens, but they were gardens for children, dogs, swings, games etc. Never flower beds.

That's probably why I have such vivid memories of my grandad's garden!
