Stills...

A fine day in prospect indeed, as we set off to take in a couple of exhibitions. And I thought. we’d probably skim round them in 15 minutes but not a bit of it. Firstly to Stills to see Home, an exhibition of contemporary photography from Ukraine, which contained a lot to read. That slows things up a bit rather than just gawping. Context, n’that. And all really pretty excellent.
Then to the Fruitmarket to see Ibrahim Mahama’s Songs about Roses. Absolutely loved it, and again, spent much longer there than I imagined, even watching both the videos. Yes, in the Fruitmarket. Place of the avant-garde guff. You know how much I liked it? I liked it so much that I tapped that donate £5 thing. And you know how mean I am.
Back to garden. But with concrete. Inspired I was.
