Betton Grange
Being without my car at the moment, I decided to walk to the station to take photos of Betton Grange, the visiting engine which does look rather smart. Per the North Norfolk Railway website:
'The completion of No. 6880 “Betton Grange” is the culmination of 30 years’ work by a small and dedicated team to create what is the 81st Great Western ‘Grange’ Class locomotive. Construction of the locomotive commenced at Llangollen and was completed at Tyseley Locomotive Works in Birmingham. She steamed for the first time in March 2024.'
I thought you'd like to see her lovely colour (better large), but I actually prefer the mono in Extras. Then I walked into town for a few things, and listened to my audiobook in the garden this afternoon.
