Verbena ? bonariensis

Last year Kat planted a few verbena plants, this year they have developed into an impressive display.  So I thought I would use them for my blip.  The main occupation for the day was holding a ladder while Kat did the summer pruning of her two Wisteria.

I did consider taking some shots of Kat's back garden.  The compost firm she uses were running a competition for sustainable gardens.  She entered not expecting to hear again and won.  If you are interested you can read about her garden here.  The fox is one of two that regularly visit.  Kat calls her shady.

I query bonariensis as Kat can't get her tongue round scientific names so I only know it is a form of Verbena.
