Tenterden Town
No 25 Northiam waits between turns ready for the 1.15pm departure for Bodiam.
We were at Tenterden as I had my annual medical exam to ensure I was fit for a further year. I was passed fit.
As it was a fine day we staying in the area, first for a coffee, then a walk taking in part of the High Weald Landscape Trail, a late lunch at the Woolpack and a pint at the Old Dairy.
This evening we attended another BearstedCAN event participating in a bat walk through the churchyard, the Woodland Trust and Majors Lake.
We saw, and heard through bat detectors, noctule bats around the churchyard and soprano pipistrelle bats over the lake.
A fine end to a good, slow day. One more BearstedCAN on Wednesday when we visit Communigrow. Looking forward to that.
