'Congratulations!'

Just before the 'off,' the Run Director—today, it was Andrew's turn—gives a briefing to all the participants (almost 600 this morning), ensuring they are aware of any hazards on the course and reminding them of some of the basics, to keep everyone safe and secure. 

 He also takes a moment to celebrate and congratulate those who have achieved various parkrun milestones, whether as runners, walkers or volunteers. This recognition acknowledges their dedication and serves as a source of inspiration for others. 

Today, there was a special shout-out for MollyG on completing 650 parkruns in Scotland and the rest of Europe. Nearly 600 of these have been at Edinburgh parkrun - the most anyone has done here!
