‘A Nice Old Car’

Sundays seem to be the day when old cars get taken out of their garages for their weekly spin.

Today, I spotted this Triumph convertible, hood down, double parked round the corner. I managed a quick shot before it sped away. 

Anyone know what model it is? The registration plate suggests it’s well over half a century old! 
(That’s quite a thought in itself!)
