Day 2

We were lucky when we arrived  on Skye to find the last space on a campsite. We set of to explore Skye. First place we stopped at was The Storr where there were cars and vans parked everywhere.  It was horrendous.  There was a little coffee hut and we managed to get parked for a coffee. The vehicles were parked alo g the verges and the wardens were booking them as there is double yellow  lines. A few miles along we came to the Lealt Falls. Spectacular falls into the see. On towards Portree but we couldn't  get parked so left to go up to Staffin. There is a beach along towards the harbour and again can't  vet moving or parked for cars. Angela wanted to go in the water so we eventually  found  a space. She said it was wonderful  with very clear water and loads of fish. Up round the top but stopping is a nightmare so we carried on back to Portree and down to Broadford for fish and chips being my treat for my birthday.
