Double Shot Mummy

Shopping and the Circus

Chomp! Maple is a mini hoover. The things our third child gets into are outrageous compared to when the twins were her age. No matter how many times we move her away, she comes back to clean up more crumbs on the floor. The aftermath of Oscar and Bailee's dinner can not be cleaned up quick enough. Ew. I have only found one half eaten fly. Cringe. Her favourite thing is getting into the basket of toilet rolls in the bathroom. She grabs one delightedly and bites a chunch out of it. Mmmmm toilet paper. Don't choke baby.

Today was a successful day. I needed to get Oscar, Bailee and myself an outfit for Maple's Naming Ceremony on Sunday, as well as a cardigan and shoes for the star herself. Stu and Nanny looked after the twins and my mum picked me up. We started our day over a good cup of coffee in the Mount and then focused on the set task. Between Farmers, Pumpkin Patch, JK Kid's and Hula we managed to get almost everything. Maple was a little angel all day. She chattered so much in the sling today, her vocals are increasing by the day.

Meanwhile, Oscar, Bailee, Nanny and Stu had a fun time at the circus in Papamoa. I came home to huge smiles and stories about clowns and motorbikes.

Day two of 'tart cherry' natural melatonin. Last night Oscar not only went to sleep without protesting but slept ALL NIGHT. I can't remember if he has ever done this before.... if he has it was a long time ago. Tonight he asked to go to sleep and said he was tired! Too good to be true I am thinking. I can't believe the answer is so simple yet. I am probably going to read something about how bad it is for them....
